About the CSSA Leadership Institute Program
The CSSA Leadership Institute (CLI) is created for mid-level Student Affairs professionals to develop peer connections, explore emerging trends and best practices, advance leadership strategies, explore complex issues and provide a connection between CSSA leadership and Student Affairs leaders.
Participants in the program are required to attend five sessions between November and April, consisting of three online and two in-person meetings on the scheduled dates and times. Before registering, please confirm your availability for the following meeting dates.
- Virtual CLI Cohort Meet n' Greet - November 17th from 11:00 am to 11:45 am
- Virtual CLI Kick-Off Meeting - December 5th from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
- Winter (In-Person) CLI Convening at the Portland Airport Sheraton - February 9th
PM Arrival; February 10 to February 13, 2026 (including the Student Success &
Retention Conference) - Virtual Check-In Meeting - March 6th from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
- Spring (In-Person) CLI Convening & Institute Completion - April 1st PM Arrival;
April 2 to April 3, 2026, at Lane Community College
The fee for participation in the institute per individual is $750, which includes breakfast and lunch on meeting dates, materials, and registration at the annual Student Success & Retention Conference. Institutions will cover the cost of travel and lodging.
Registration closes Friday, November 14th.
